The Centre for Human Right and Climate Change Research will be organizing a workshop on Gender and Sustainable Developmenton the 14th of May. participants will be drawn among NGO's, CBO's, Policy Makers, Academia etc
We already have on our agenda getting Ideas and views for RIO with a focus on further analysis of the Zero Draft Document and the gender survey instrument.
We call for suggestions that will enhance the productivity of the workshop. If possible with emphasis on Africa

The Centre for Human Rights and Climate Change Research has a forthcoming workshop Gender and Sustainable Development scheduled for 14th May,2012.
We already have on our schedule review of the Zero Draft Document and the Gender Survey Instrument to collate ideas and perspectives for RIO.
we call for suggesting on discussions that will enrich discussions and perspectives on Africa.

About
The Women's Major Group (WMG) was created as one of nine Major Groups after the 1992 UN Conference on Environment and Development held in Rio de Janeiro. This list serve is for members of the Women Major Group following the Post Rio+20 process (Financing SD, SDGs-post2015) as well as for members of the Women Major Group following Environment processes (UNEP). The Operating Partners (OPs) of the Post Rio+20 process that coordinate the group rotate periodically. The current WMG OPs are Women in Europe for a Common Future (WECF) and Development Alternatives with Women for a New Era (DAWN) supported by a core group including the Women's Environment and Development Organization(WEDO) and Global Forest Coalition (GFC).
